Regional Vice President (RVP) Therapy Services - South

OVERVIEW OF POSITION

Responsible for overseeing and driving the operational and financial performance of therapyservices across multiple locations for both/either of internal or TPN within adesignated region. Leads and manages the Therapy Services Supervisors, ClinicalStandard Directors, and Therapy Network Administration to ensure the deliveryof high-quality care, compliance with regulatory standards, and the achievementof organizational goals. Directs the team who coordinates therapy services,program planning, and implementation of policies and procedures. Providesclinical supervision and work direction to therapists and administrative staff,including training/skills enhancement, clinical consultation, and professionaldevelopment.

Essential Functions

• Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates program elements relating to the delivery of services for the Therapy Services programs.
• Ensures Therapy Supervisors meet productivity requirements and provide efficient and effective service in all areas of performance.
• Leads the interdisciplinary team.
• Functions as liaison between the organization, families, and other community agencies including regional centers, school programs, therapists, and health care providers.
• Oversees the clinical and administrative associates who work with the Therapy Provider Network.
• Supports budget development, ensures productivity, project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets; ensures budget accountability with the therapy team.
• Manages resources, monitors and provides input into the billing process, reviews financial statements, and ensures that business processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reports results to higher level management.
• Attends/leads Therapy Services Leadership staff meetings.
• Ensures staff responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities are defined and understood.
• Manages and evaluates performance of team members.
• In conjunction with the Chief Clinical Officer and Human Resources, participates in recruitment and hiring of direct reports.
• Maintains the preparation of documents required by agencies and funders; prepares reports and correspondences; responds to inquiries from outside agencies and makes presentations to support autism services activities as required.

Education

• Master’s degree from an accredited program in speech-language pathology, physical or occupational therapy.

Experience

• Current speech-language pathologist, Board of Occupational Therapy and/or Physical Therapy license issued by the state of California.
• Must possess and maintain a current CPR certification.

• Experience working with children with disabilities, including autism; in which 3 years is management/supervisory experience.
