Regional Vice President - Defense
The Regional Vice President for Sales is responsible for achieving booking targets across the US for the Enterprise sales team. This role leads a team of 4 to 8 Enterprise Account Executives and reports directly to the Area Vice President, Defense.
About the role
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven sales leader to drive and manage the growth of our Enterprise sales team. The ideal candidate should have a successful track record in software sales as a sales team leader, experience defining territories, assigning quotas, and determining target accounts, and experience managing and coaching team members and assisting their sales cycles.
Responsibilities
- Drive and manage the growth of the Enterprise sales team
- Lead a team of 4 to 8 Enterprise Account Executives
- Work with other members of the sales leadership team to ensure the overall quota is met
Requirements
- A successful track record in software sales as a sales team leader
- Experience defining territories, assigning quotas, and determining target accounts for an inside sales team
- Experience managing and coaching team members and assisting their sales cycles
- Experience working with resellers & channel partner teams
Basic qualifications
- 10+ years direct sales experience and 5+ years in enterprise software sales as a sales team leader
- Bachelor's degree in related field/degree
- At least 2 years experience selling focused on the U.S. Public Sector space
- Working knowledge of business process automation with a history of qualifying client solution areas and orchestrating multi departmental solution sales
- Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills
