Regional Underwriting Director

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct regional underwriting processes
• Develop and enforce region-specific underwriting guidelines
• Model effective underwriting practices across various lines of business
• Set strategies to address profit challenges and communicate them
• Serve as the subject matter expert for high-risk accounts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in insurance or business administration or equivalent experience
• Ten years of commercial lines underwriting experience
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• CPCU designation or other relevant underwriting designations preferred
• Superior knowledge of underwriting and risk analysis
