General Responsibilities
- Oversee or provide technical expertise in the management of regional teams.
- Provide direction and lead efforts to standardize policies, practices and procedures among employees.
- Monitor the performance of teams and facilitate training, site visits, quality audits and safety incident investigation.
- May participate in marketing activities and recruitment of new team members.
Essential Roles And Responsibilities
- Partner with departments and offices within designated region by providing technical expertise and consulting to further the development of a new line of business or service offering.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, resource and point of contact to office and department personnel within the region.
- Develop and recommend policies, practices and procedures for the line of business to drive uniformity and standardization across the region.
- Partner and collaborate with other Regional Technical Consultants in other regions to develop the line of business across divisions and operating groups.
- Aid region departments in the execution of growth strategies and actions necessary to achieve the strategic and annual operations plans.
- May participate in client development and pursuit activities.
- May assist in recruiting/interviewing potential key hires for positions.
- Develop/deliver training for new line of business to offices in region.
- Provide technical support on projects as needed.
- Assist in the development of projects, business and clients.
- Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects.
- Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline practiced by the firm or related discipline and a minimum of 8 years’ related experience.
- Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 12 years’ related experience.
- A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or licensure in field of expertise.
