About the role

CCL Hospitality Group is seeking a Regional Support Dietitian in Virginia, Maryland, DC, North Carolina and the surrounding Mid-Atlantic Region.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical support to regional accounts
  • Extensive travel - up to 100% to site across the assigned region
  • Represents the key contact with guests to assess nutritional and dietary needs
  • Makes recommendations and works collaboratively with client representatives (especially nursing/medical staff)
  • Communicates and implements new clinical systems and programs with clients and Dining Services Director
  • Ensures nutritional requirements are incorporated into dining services production and operations
  • Plans, recommends, documents, and controls resident/patient nutritional needs to meet company standards and policies
  • Completes required departmental audits, corrective action plans, and follows directives from corporate support

Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a valid CDR #
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, successful completion of Dietetic Internship or equivalent
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of clinical experience in senior living environment
  • Serve Safe, Choke Save, and Allergen certification preferred
  • Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Requires work with extreme temperatures/conditions and frequent interaction with heated equipment, grease, refrigeration/freezer and other at-risk conditions
  • Computer knowledge and ability to work with multiple software programs is essential
  • Requires repetitive motion, walking, and/or standing for extended periods of time
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, and carrying
  • Requires repetitive wrist motion

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in computer software and applications
