About the role
CCL Hospitality Group is seeking a Regional Support Dietitian in Virginia, Maryland, DC, North Carolina and the surrounding Mid-Atlantic Region.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical support to regional accounts
- Extensive travel - up to 100% to site across the assigned region
- Represents the key contact with guests to assess nutritional and dietary needs
- Makes recommendations and works collaboratively with client representatives (especially nursing/medical staff)
- Communicates and implements new clinical systems and programs with clients and Dining Services Director
- Ensures nutritional requirements are incorporated into dining services production and operations
- Plans, recommends, documents, and controls resident/patient nutritional needs to meet company standards and policies
- Completes required departmental audits, corrective action plans, and follows directives from corporate support
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a valid CDR #
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, successful completion of Dietetic Internship or equivalent
- Master’s degree preferred
- 2 years of clinical experience in senior living environment
- Serve Safe, Choke Save, and Allergen certification preferred
- Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Requires work with extreme temperatures/conditions and frequent interaction with heated equipment, grease, refrigeration/freezer and other at-risk conditions
- Computer knowledge and ability to work with multiple software programs is essential
- Requires repetitive motion, walking, and/or standing for extended periods of time
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and carrying
- Requires repetitive wrist motion
Skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in computer software and applications
