Overview We are currently seeking a Regional Scheduler for our Phoenix, AZ office. The Regional Scheduler is responsible for the organization, implementation, verification, and maintenance of the scheduling management system supporting regional pursuits and active projects. There are many compelling reasons why exceptional people should consider a career with our company: Challenging, complex workCreative and innovative problem-solving environmentSupportive, communicative managers who rewardhard workOpportunities for growth, training, and developmentFlexibility in career path & progressionOpportunities to work and live all over the United States Responsibilities Develops and implements a comprehensive scheduling management system including,standardization of the work breakdown structure and activity code libraries, time impact and critical path analysis methodologies, schedule updating workshops, training,etcInteracts with project teams and task managers to define project scopes of work to develop andupdatejob and pursuit schedules in terms of progress, cost, and resource information.Evaluates project schedule data/performance to include recording activities, researching audittrails, verifying actual start/finish dates and logic ties, cost/budgets, change orders, work breakdown structures, risks, and associated data as applicable to the schedules.Identifiesvariances from the original or approved plan.Prepares project management reports to reflect schedule status and/or corrective actions asrequired.Conducts analysis and workshops todeterminealternative courses of action or recovery oneroded schedules as well as on-time or ahead schedules. Recommends Timely And Effective Change Management Processes, Procedures And Systems Or Alternative Methods To Efficiently Achieve Schedule Certainty, Including, But Not Limited To Analyzing project schedule requirements with the project team and ensuring requiredresources are available, so that established schedules may bereasonably maintained.Analyzing work productivity against established schedules/productions andreporttomanagement. Modifying schedules as necessary to efficiently plan and report activities.Analyzing anychangesin construction planning,sequencing,and/or logic to ensure theproject may bereasonablymaintained. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction managementor equivalentApproximately 10 years of experienceProficient in the following: Word, Excel, Primavera P6Preferred Proficiency in the following: Acumen Fuse, Synchro,Projectand Cost Management SystemsExcellent leadership, communication, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and ability toprioritize,organizeand manage timeMust be willing to travel to and from projects inregion Division: Water Job Category: Project Management Job Type: Full_time The Walsh Group, Ltd.
