Regional Sales Specialist

About the role

Cold Front Distribution seeks a Regional Sales Specialist to join our team in the Milwaukee, WI area. We are a leading DSD supplier serving grocery and retail supply chains across 17 states. Our mission is to exceed customer expectations and uphold high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Aids in training of sales staff as needed by District/Area Manager
• Completes review sheets on sales staff during ride-alongs
• Supports routes by covering for sales staff during time off
• Develops new accounts and understands various roles within the district
• Directly manages retail accounts, conducting monthly business reviews
• Creates planograms and resets for accounts as specified
• Strives to achieve sales and contribution goals
• Assists in creating planograms and resets within the district
• Oversees the upkeep, maintenance, and repairs of assigned vehicles
• Coordinates service appointments and assists in the training process of new employees
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations
• Promotes safe driving and work practices
• Responds to warehouse/freezer temperature monitoring alerts as needed

Requirements

• Sales experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License and DOT Medical Certificate
• Organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, self-starter attitude, interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility with availability and work hours, willingness to work weekends as needed, and customer focus and relationships
• Frequent travel (up to 75%) and overnight travel may be required
