Regional Sales Manager (Northern Greece) - Agrichemicals/Crop Protection

About the role

ADAMA is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead sales performance across Northern Greece, managing a team of five Sales Representatives. This high-impact role is ideal for a commercially driven agricultural professional with strong leadership potential and ambition to progress into broader international opportunities within the Syngenta Group.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional sales, profit, and market share targets in line with ADAMA's strategy.
• Manage and develop relationships with key distributors and customers.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of five, setting KPIs and driving performance.
• Manage regional sales forecasts, budgets, promotions, and commercial activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify growth opportunities.
• Work closely with Marketing, Regulatory, Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR.
• Ensure strong customer service, product availability, and distributor financial performance.

Requirements

• University degree in Agriculture, Economics, or a related field.
• Several years' experience in agricultural or crop protection sales.
• Proven experience managing distributors and delivering ambitious sales targets.
• Previous people management and team development experience.
• Strong commercial judgement, accountability, and decision-making skills.
• Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable in a changing environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
• Fluent in English and Greek.
