About the Role

ConMet is seeking a driven and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our Aftermarket team. In this key remote-based role, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with purchasing, sales, service, and ownership personnel at all Aftermarket Customers, Distributors, Dealers and Fleets. You’ll drive sales growth and profitability across ConMet’s Aftermarket, Trailer Equipment Spec Pull-Through, and Digital Sales channels in your assigned territory. This home-based role has no direct reports. We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused professional who understands the competitive landscape of the commercial vehicle market and can help position ConMet as the supplier of choice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations and within ConMet
  • Achieve annual revenue and profitability targets across multiple product and sales categories
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by clearly articulating the ConMet value proposition
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams (customer service, engineering, field service, and plant operations)
  • Conduct regular travel throughout the South-Central U.S. and North America to meet customers and attend industry events
  • Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activity
  • Support sales forecasting and new product launches in coordination with the Director of Field Sales
  • Strengthen ConMet’s brand presence through active customer engagement and industry networking

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales within the Class 8 commercial vehicle industry is preferred
  • Previous parts sales experience is a plus
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of the commercial vehicle aftermarket preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the region and North America
  • Self-starter who thrives in a remote work environment with minimal supervision

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $100,367 – 172,000 per year (starting salary varies by location, qualifications, and prior experience; upper portion reserved for existing employees with strong performance over time)
  • Targeted annual bonus based on company performance against objectives during the fiscal plan year (October 1 – September 30)
