What You'll Do
- Champion and promote our product portfolio throughout your territory.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Build, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with distributors, wholesalers, contractors, engineers, and end users.
- Conduct regular customer visits to promote products, provide technical support, and identify new business opportunities.
- Deliver product presentations, technical training sessions, and educational seminars to customers and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, and other internal teams to ensure excellent customer support and service.
- Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM software.
- Plan and coordinate extensive territory travel, including customer meetings, events, and industry activities.
- Provide support and guidance to independent sales representatives within the territory, where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; Engineering background is considered an asset.
- 5–7 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the waterworks, utility, construction, industrial, or related sectors.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to work independently, manage a territory, and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling technical or engineered products.
- Background in waterworks, utilities, piping systems, or infrastructure markets.
- Experience working with distributors, contractors, consulting engineers, and municipalities.
