Regional Sales Manager - Central Territory

Role & Responsibilities

  • This role will report to the head of sales at Beverage Ranch
  • With the assistance of management, develop annual and quarterly P/L including case targets, incentive and bill-back spend, marketing spend and resource needs
  • Work closely and develop relationships within distribution network (Reyes, SGWS and other regional distributors) at the sales and corporate level
  • Define and implement pricing deal levels with distributors and adjust as necessary
  • Conduct local GSMs (virtual or in person), market kickoffs, market blitz, distributor ride-withs, business plan reviews as needed to maintain information flow to distributors
  • Work with distributors to build quarterly incentives, track and monitor as necessary
  • Achieve monthly sell-in and sell-through targets by state
  • Work with overall sales team to forecast for defined territory
  • Engage with regional chains as necessary to promote sales
  • Work closely with national accounts team member for cross-state placements, mandates and authorizations.
  • Educate and monitor distributor on national retailer programming
  • Align with marketing team to support activations, merchandising and promotional opportunities in market
  • Work to align with other Regional Sales Managers to build process’ and best practices to improve the overall organization

Ideal Candidate Characteristics

  • 5+ years of sales experience within the alcoholic beverage industry
  • 3+ years of managing a multi-state distribution network
  • Existing relationships with distributors (within our network) and retail accounts
  • Willingness to work within a quota driven compensation structure
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a flexible start-up environment where processes may not be defined and resources might be limited
  • Ability to stay on budget and consistently hit goals
  • Experience working remotely and with little oversight
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as necessary
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs regularly

Compensation and Benefits

  • Total target compensation of $80,000–$110,000 annually, including base salary and performance-based bonus, commensurate with experience
