About the role

Develop an effective sales strategy and drive profitable sales of Stallion’s portfolio of products and services. Lead a highly motivated sales team to build brand awareness, close deals, win clients, and partner effectively with Operations to grow the business. Plan and manage all sales efforts in accordance with established goals set by the Company and the VP of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of sales representatives to meet sales targets.
  • Monitor the performance of the team and modify sales strategies as needed.
  • Provide effective training and communication to the sales team to maximize efficiencies and proactively resolve conflicts.
  • Champion technology, effective use of CRM/RM, and other productivity tools to meet objectives.
  • Research and identify sales opportunities, generate leads, and target identification.
  • Reach out to new customers and make presentations or pitches outlining the benefits of products/services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all potential and existing clients.
  • Ensure proper servicing and after-sales support to clients.
  • Report data to management through Salesforce and gather relevant market intelligence.
  • Understand client requirements and customize products/services where possible.
  • Fulfill short-term and long-term sales goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain successful customer relations efforts.
  • Manage all existing and developing customer accounts.
  • Participate in the development of proposals.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of brand marketing.
  • Attend and participate in company/industry sales and marketing events.
  • Assist credit with collections by acting as a liaison between credit and customers to resolve and collect outstanding fees.
  • Maintain updated process documentation.

Requirements

  • Established network within customer base, industry, and targeted industry segments.
  • Exceptional account management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of Stallion’s products & services, market, and customers.
  • Able to understand and structure sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
  • Promotes teamwork, cohesiveness, and coordination between Sales and Operations.
  • Skillful at contracting, negotiating, and conflict resolution.
  • Committed to following all of Stallion’s policies, including the expense and reimbursement policy.
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Salesforce, CRM tools, and lead generation applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry sales experience.
  • 10+ years of industry-related sales experience.
  • Strong client portfolio.
