Regional Sales Manager
About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Oil and Vacuum Services Manager to meet revenue quotas for the Oil and Vacuum Services programs within the region. This role includes sales production, rep training and development, pricing management, and major account sales.
Responsibilities
- Meet revenue quota for the Oil and Vacuum Services programs within the region.
- Train and develop all Vacuum Services Sales Reps (VSSR) and Oil Services Sales Reps (OSSR) in the region, including regular truck rides.
- Train, implement, and monitor compliance with the company’s Oil and Vacuum Services acceptance procedures.
- Manage pricing and price exception procedures for the Oil and Vacuum Service programs.
- Handle major account sales and retention within the region, including personal sales efforts at major accounts and larger prospects.
- Monitor business performance on a daily, weekly, and period basis.
- Identify and communicate potential problems or reasons for lack of adequate revenue growth with Regional and Corporate business management, and implement solutions.
- Develop and implement sales contests and incentives to increase gallons and revenue.
- Report progress of sales performance to Regional and Senior Sales Management.
- Assist the Branch Manager in hiring Oil and Vacuum Services Sales and Service Reps.
- Coordinate the startup of new Vacuum or Oil Services trucks, including logistics and supplies.
- Oversee emergency response or mitigate issues with hot loads, coordinating with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S).
- Present a positive image of Heritage-Crystal Clean to employees, external contacts, and the public.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong sales and sales analysis skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with Division, Region, and Branch management, as well as other branch and corporate office members.
- Ability to motivate sales and service staff.
- Proven record in sales.
- Must meet HCC Driver Qualifications and be able to operate an Oil and Vacuum Service Truck.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant field.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- CDL recommended.
Skills
- Train OSSR and VSSR to provide quality service and increase sales.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots when working at customer sites or in the field.
Work Environment
While performing essential duties, the individual regularly works in a variety of environments and is required to see, talk, hear, reach with hands, stand, walk, and drive frequently. Essential duties require bending, squatting, and twisting frequently. The employee will frequently be exposed to dirt, dust, and fumes. Noise levels are generally moderate but may vary depending on customer site visits. Occasionally, the employee may be required to lift/move up to 75 lbs.
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000.
