About the role
The Regional Sales Director leads and manages a sales team, often remotely, focusing on recruiting, training, and retaining top talent. They also secure new business, assist with key account development, and communicate openly with others while adhering to confidentiality policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales activities and implement sales programs for the assigned Region
- Analyze and report on trends within the assigned Region
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the team through positive leadership
- Hire, educate, develop, and retain high-performing Territory Managers
- Engage with key accounts and build relationships throughout the region
- Contribute to Kestra's profitability through the control of discounts and expenses
- Communicate openly and share information with others
- Adhere to Pledge of Confidentiality
Requirements
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree, minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in Cardiac and/or medical equipment sales, and sales model coaching experience
- Competencies: Passion, commitment to continuous improvement, integrity, collaboration/teamwork, action/results, innovation, customer focus, emotional intelligence
- Physical Demands: Frequent repetitive motions, frequent stationary position, frequent computer use, frequent phone and other business machine use, occasional lifting up to 40 pounds
- Travel: Frequent domestic travel by car and/or air, up to 75%

- Annualized Salary: $200,000, plus commissions, depending on experience and location
