Regional Sales Director
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a Regional Sales Director who will lead and develop the regional sales organization, drive revenue performance, build deep customer and territory expertise, and collaborate across the organization.
About The Role
Lead and develop the regional sales organization by recruiting, training, coaching, and inspiring representatives; create challenging roles, conduct regular field visits, and build sustainable sales capabilities.
Drive revenue performance by developing and executing regional sales strategies, managing resources, building a strong pipeline, and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
Build deep customer and territory expertise, developing trusted relationships, delivering value-added solutions, influencing key stakeholders, and anticipating emerging customer needs and market challenges.
Serve as a senior commercial representative of the company, demonstrating product and portfolio expertise, representing the organization at trade shows and meetings, and participating in required regional and corporate initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
- At least two years of sales management of direct or independent sales representative experience required, 5+ years preferred.
- 5 years of demonstrated successful sales experience required, healthcare or business to business sales experience preferred.
- Ability to travel 75% of time (based on location).
- Excellent planning, forecasting, negotiation and presentation skills.
