About the Role

As a key member of the US Sales team, the Regional Sales Director is responsible for generating new business, meeting/exceeding revenue targets, and supporting Laborie’s customers through the activities of their sales representatives and clinical educators. A key activity in the role is motivating and advising sales representatives to improve their performance by effective planning, setting sales goals, effective coaching of team members, and working cross-functionally with other departments.

  • Lead and develop the regional sales organization by recruiting, training, coaching, and inspiring representatives; create challenging roles, conduct regular field visits, and build sustainable sales capabilities.
  • Drive revenue performance by developing and executing regional sales strategies, managing resources, building a strong pipeline, and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Build deep customer and territory expertise, developing trusted relationships, delivering value-added solutions, influencing key stakeholders, and anticipating emerging customer needs and market challenges.
  • Collaborate and influence across the organization to align priorities, promote win-win outcomes, share best practices, and leverage diverse perspectives to achieve sales and financial objectives.
  • Serve as a senior commercial representative of the company, demonstrating product and portfolio expertise, representing the organization at trade shows and meetings, and participating in required regional and corporate initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
  • At least two years of sales management of direct or independent sales representative experience required, 5+ years preferred.
  • 5 years of demonstrated successful sales experience required, healthcare or business-to-business sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time (based on location).
  • Excellent planning, forecasting, negotiation, and presentation skills.
