About the role

The Regional Sales Associate provides regional support to assigned Regional Sales Manager. This includes assisting in closing opportunities, ensuring shipments are complete, and handling customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Support Market level needs and act as a liaison to Territory Managers.
  • Aid in closing opportunities and managing customer contacts.
  • Understand and manage the Install Base for Warranty, up trade, and expansion.
  • Identify key buying influencers and determine budgets and timelines for better follow-up by the Sales Team.
  • Build and cultivate relationships by initiating and following up on communications.
  • Work with management to develop and grow the sales pipeline to meet revenue goals.
  • Manage data for new and existing clients in Salesforce.com, ensuring all communications are logged accurately and documents are attached.
  • Prepare and analyze reports and dashboards.

Requirements

This position is open to candidates residing in Chicago, IL or surrounding areas within the region, making it a central location for the territory's business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree/Associates Degree or significant related experience in Sales or related field.
  • 1-3 years Sales Experience.
  • CRM Experience preferred (Salesforce.com recommended).
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined lead/sales and activity quotas.
  • A proven track record of strong client relationships.

  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects concurrently.

  • Team player, able to gain confidence and trust of the Direct Purchase and Field Sales teams.

  • Strong Customer Relationship Management (CRM) abilities.
  • Strong affinity for technology.

Pay

$50,000.00/yr + variable bonus opportunity.

Schedule

Full-time position.
