Regional Safety Manager - REMOTE

Responsibilities

• Regional Lead Environmental Health and Safety (EHS): maintain current knowledge of safety trends and practices; identify and implement company best practices to create standards; manage safety region to eliminate occupational injuries and illnesses; assist in developing and implementing safety training programs and safety policies/procedures related to construction/manufacturing.
• Communication and Reporting: compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data on exposure factors; prepare reports for informational purposes; act with fiduciary responsibility; prepare incident reports and work with operations on dissemination, review, and recommended actions; compile and submit reports required by company management and regulatory agencies (OSHA), including ad‑hoc reporting.
• Audit/Compliance: perform comprehensive EHS facility and field audits; create corrective action plans and partner with operations for deliverables; facilitate timely completion and closure of corrective action plans; serve as subject matter expert on corporate and governmental regulatory issues; conduct and facilitate field and facility safety meetings and training.
• Regional Safety Management (Day‑to‑Day Operations): train and develop regional resources on overall construction safety; investigate injuries and incidents and develop root cause analysis and corrective action plans; document all injury and incident scenarios in the EHS information system; communicate injury/incident scenarios and root/contributing causes to the organization to facilitate proactive avoidance; manage OSHA citations and investigations; analyze metrics and review monthly incidents to understand trends and align resources; audit data collection and reporting practices for compliance with federal and state regulations.
• This is a safety‑sensitive position.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• 5+ years’ experience in OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations and safety administration in a transportation, construction, distribution, general industry, or warehousing environment.
• Proficient in OSHA & EPA regulations, state and federal laws, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (highly preferred).
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
• Associate Safety Professional (ASP) preferred.
• Construction Health Safety Technician (CHST) preferred.

Pay

Compensation range: $90,000.00 – $135,000.00 (actual offers depend on location, experience, skills, and market data; variable compensation may be offered).

Schedule

Remote position; must reside in Colorado, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, or Arizona (strong preference for Colorado or Utah). Approximately 50% travel required throughout a multi‑state territory (CO, UT, NV, NM, AZ).
