Regional Safety Manager

Main Duties

• Provide support to construction crew
• Visit job sites to monitor sites safety, inspections, and safety audits
• Manage safety programs, trainings, workshops, and meetings
• Monitor paperwork related to incident management (medical bills, injury report, insurance claims, or medical clearance)
• Conduct investigations of workplace accidents and incidents to determine their causes
• Aid in documentation

Qualifications

• Preferred degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a safety-related field
• OSHA 30, OSHA 500, and CHST certifications required
• Train the Trainer level (Competent Person) for Trenching & Excavation and Confined Spaces certification preferred
• ASP or CSP certification preferred
• Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
• Ability to travel per job requirements, overseeing the region of Texas
• High-level of communication proficiency and ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• Strong ability to build and maintain strong relationships within Operations
• Passion for training and development within Safety
