About the role
The Regional Safety Manager will provide regional leadership and oversight for health and safety programmes, support project teams in achieving compliance with company and regulatory requirements, conduct site visits, audits, and risk assessments, review incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.Responsibilities
- Provide regional leadership and oversight for health and safety programmes
- Support project teams in achieving compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Conduct site visits, audits, and risk assessments across multiple locations
- Review incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions
- Develop strong relationships with field personnel and operational leaders
- Maintain safety performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
- Deliver training, coaching, and guidance to employees at all levels
- Champion a positive safety culture throughout the organisation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related discipline preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' EHS experience within construction environments
- Previous experience supporting excavation, utility, civil, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable
- ASP, CSP, or similar professional certifications preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of the business
Qualifications
- Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest region (approximately 40%)

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
