About the role
Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Responsibilities
- Maintures the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process to provide patient care.
- Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program.
- Licensure: Current RN licensure with State Board of Nursing in the applicable state of practice or current temporary work permit in the applicable state of practice.
- Certification/Registration: BLS.
Physical Requirements
- Possesses the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Possesses the ability to stand and walk during each shift.
- Possesses the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
