Job Description
The Corporate Regional Registered Dietitian position at Hy-Vee oversees the nutritional needs of 1-3 store locations. This role focuses on providing personalized nutrition counseling for various health conditions, conducting health screenings, and organizing group presentations and classes.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Customer Service: Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern, and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store. Greets customers with a smile.
Individualized Nutrition Counseling: Focuses on addressing specific health conditions through personalized nutrition counseling. Keeps current on nutrition topics and trends for customer education.
Business Management: Implements strategies to increase referral rates and drive business growth. Analyzes data and trends to identify opportunities for program enhancement.
Health Screenings: Conducts health screenings including biometric, hemoglobin A1C, Omega-3 Index, and Vitamin D screenings to assess and address customers' health needs.
Group Presentations and Classes: Organizes and conducts group presentations and classes, offering nutritional education to a wider audience, both in person and virtually.
Product Knowledge: Stays informed about food products available in store and educates customers through personalized shopping assistance.
Media Representation: Represents the Hy-Vee brand in various media outlets, including TV segments, radio, podcasts, and contributes to newspaper articles/blogs. Completes Hy-Vee media training.
Secondary Duties And Responsibilities
Aids in other areas of store as needed.
Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Keeps personal expense account records up to date and adheres to all policies and procedures concerning personal accounts. Turns in expenses monthly to supervisor.
Maintains all company-provided equipment such as laptop, phone, car.

Education And Experience
Minimum of six months or more of similar or related work experience.
Completed four-year college degree and dietetic internship approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly the American Dietetic Association).
Certified as a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian for the state(s) they support.
Physical Requirements
Visual requirements: Ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
Physical abilities: Occasionally lifting/carrying objects up to 10 pounds, standing/walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Working Conditions
General office and retail setting.
Weekly pressure to meet deadlines.
