Regional Quality/Risk Director

About the role

The Regional Quality/Risk Director is responsible for creating an environment and culture that enables the region to meet or exceed its goals, convey the company's mission to all staff, facilitate hospital accountability, and motivate staff to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Helping to create an environment and culture that enables the region to fulfill its mission by meeting or exceeding its goals.
• Conveying the company's mission to all staff.
• Facilitating hospital accountability for their performance.
• Motivating staff to improve their performance.
• Safeguarding and promoting cultural diversity by ensuring equitable and culturally competent patient-centered care is provided.
• Promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in quality improvement and risk management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field.
• Current certification in either Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certified Risk Manager in Healthcare (CRMHC).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
