About the role
The Regional Project Manager supports our Neighborhoods with capital and renovation projects, provides guidance on large scale maintenance challenges, and ensures ongoing programs maintain the quality of our properties.
Responsibilities
- Oversee capital and renovation projects from development of work scopes to bid analysis and negotiation.
- Assist with the development of capital budgets and five-year forecasts.
- Appraise damage or problems at Neighborhoods, determine remediation capability, and hire contractors when necessary.
- Solicit outside vendor bids, establish detailed work scopes, and evaluate bids for quality.
- Manage daily operations, including maintenance and repairs.
- Oversight of property environmental programs such as asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold response policies.
- Lead and inspire confidence in staff through positive relationships with vendors and Neighborhood staff.
- Support and train onsite Maintenance Supervisors and teams for site-specific concerns.
- Participate in hiring recommendations.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Construction related projects.
- A background in maintenance and construction.
- Completion of relevant courses such as BOMA, IREM, or vocational programs, or four or more years of inter-company experience.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local governing laws.
- Knowledge of and participation in company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED, with minimum three certificates from related institutions reflecting completion of maintenance related courses.
- Safety: Knowledge of, and participation in, company safety policies and completion of routine Neighborhood inspections.

$109,000.00 to $142,900.00 per year
