Regional Primary Therapist

What You’ll Do

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, facilitate individual, family, and group therapies, and provide clinical support to the program as needed.
• Communicate proactively as the clinical point of contact with families.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapies within the framework of Newport Healthcare’s clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
• Facilitate new Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups.
• Complete risk assessment and initial safety plan upon admission and biopsychosocial assessment and treatment plan within timeline requirements.
• Cookordination treatment goals and services in collaboration with client's treatment team, with 30-day treatment plan reviews and updates.
• Complete documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress, group notes, contact notes and discharge summaries) timely and according to established standards.
• Conduct risk or crisis assessments and provides intervention/management as needed.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision.
• Enter and save data accurately within Word, Outlook (email and calendaring), EMR, and online learning.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences representing Newport Healthcare as needed.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field; or enrollment in a doctorate program from an accredited or state-approved graduate school (required)
• Board registered (APCC, ACSW, AMFT) or Psychologic Associate in the state where services are provided (required)
• Experience facilitating therapy with young adults and/or adolescents
• A patient-first mindset that inspires you to reach the highest standards in delivery of care
• Cultural sensitivity and interpersonal savvy that allow you to build constructive and effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and families
• A problem-solver who digs deep and uses all the information available to craft skillful solutions

Pay

Compensation for this role ranges from $67,200-$86,100 per year depending on education and experience.
