About the role
As a Regional Occupancy Planning Lead, you will manage the team responsible for providing space planning, data mining, reporting, and interpretation of metrics for client needs. This role is part of the Moves, Additions, and Changes function, overseeing space design, construction, and moving services.
Responsibilities
- Provide formal supervision to employees, including monitoring training and development, conducting performance evaluations, and coaching. Oversee recruiting and hiring of new staff.
- Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities, including establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, cross-training staff, setting and tracking deadlines, and mentoring as needed.
- Develop and maintain positive key client relationships. Conduct meetings on escalated facility issues and communicate regarding property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, and related reports.
- Research and implement new processes and technology to improve operational efficiency.
- Create and recommend strategic facility management objectives for clients. Review budget reports for multiple facilities.
- Direct facility inspections for quality assurance on a periodic basis. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Apply broad knowledge of the business and discipline to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others while adhering to policies and departmental plans.
- Identify and solve complex technical and operational problems.
- Understand and recognize the broader impact of decisions across the department.
- Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the discipline.
