About the role
The Regional Nurse Manager will oversee the administration of nursing services within the designated region. This includes directing, planning, and coordinating the activities of professional and auxiliary nursing personnel to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities also include providing direct patient care, managing staff, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients, including patient assessment, clinical and environmental care, teaching, and monitoring of patient responses.
- Selects, trains, develops, and motivates a highly skilled professional nursing and allied staff.
- Manages the initial patient intake process, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submission of clinical and departmental reports.
- Assists in the management of the department budget and ensures that all clinical and administrative policies are implemented and evaluated.
- Secures and maintains all applicable licenses, certifications, and accreditations required for staff and department operations.
- Participates in planning, decision-making, and implementing service center activities that impact clinical nursing services and the multi-disciplinary team.
- Works closely with the Regional Business Leader, VP of Nursing, and other management to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs, and systems.
- Adheres to all policies, procedures, and standards of conduct, reporting any violations to the appropriate management.
- Completes necessary managerial tasks for direct reports, including hiring, training, addressing performance issues, and developing team goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN preferred.
- Current RN licensure by the applicable state(s) Board of Nursing, in good standing - Illinois.
- Minimum 5 years Nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion, specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy, or critical care.
- Minimum 5 years Pediatric Nursing experience ideal.
- Minimum 2 years management experience, proven ability to manage, train, and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating procedures.
- Knowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapies.
- Knowledge of State licensed, non-certified, home health agency regulations as applicable.
- Ability to directly supervise and manage staff for a licensed home health agency as applicable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Advanced certification a plus (i.e., CRNI, IgCN).
Qualifications
- Must be able to work 100% in-office.
- Must be able to travel to the locations listed in the schedule.
- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Must be knowledgeable and have used the following IV access devices: IV lines, accessing ports, and administration of infusion medications.
- Must be able to provide infusions to patients in their homes as well as the infusion suite as needed.
- Must have experience working as a Nurse Manager/Regional Nurse manager, Specialty Infusion Pharmacy preferred.

Pay
$100,000 - $120,000 per year
Schedule
- Must be able to work 100% in office.
- This position is a regional role covering the following states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska.
- Must be able to travel to the locations listed above.
- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation.
