Regional Market Sector Leader - Water/Wastewater Design-Build

Responsibilities

Direct business development efforts and pursuit strategies for water/wastewater design-build projects.
Manage construction planning, estimating, pricing, and execution for complex infrastructure projects.
Oversee multidisciplinary design and construction teams through full project delivery.
Lead subcontractor identification, vetting, partnering, and contract strategy.
Review and manage prime contracts and subcontract agreements.
Partner with HSE leadership to promote a strong safety culture across all projects.
Drive collaboration across Dewberry offices and water sector teams.
Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
Supports recruiting efforts aligned with market growth strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Environmental Engineering (preferred)
15+ years of experience in water/WWTP or related field involving construction of complex MEP intensive projects
Strong knowledge of design-build or alternative delivery methods
Proven leadership in safety, QA/QC, risk management, and financial performance
Strong business development skills
Strong client relationship and subcontractor network in the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic
Excellent communication and team-building skills

Qualifications

Must be able to pass a background screening which may include, but is not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, driving record check, criminal background check, and an investigative consumer report.

Pay

The projected range for this position is $175,000 - $210,000 annually.
