The Collier Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! As an HVAC Technician, you will support different communities in ensuring that all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems are operating efficiently and meet The Collier Companies’ established standards. The HVAC Technician is an expert at diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing HVAC equipment while providing exceptional customer service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment.
• Repair and replace components as needed.
• Respond to service requests from residents.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Manage a rotating on‑call schedule for emergency situations.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks when required.

Qualifications

• EPA type II certification required; EPA Universal preferred.
• Must have a truck in good working condition capable of carrying required HVAC equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of HVAC service, maintenance, and repair experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Apartment housing or multi‑family maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment, including split systems, package units, and heat pumps.

• Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Organized, efficient, and able to prioritize service requests and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, which will include an emergency on‑call rotation.
• Proven track record of excellent customer service and resident satisfaction.
