Regional Grounds & Property Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of best practices for parking lot clean-up, landscaping, snow management, and exterior clean-up.
• Ability to learn and follow instructions.
• Ability to perform general handyman tasks, including but not limited to minor repairs, furniture assembly, and line striping.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Capable of multi-tasking, creating schedules, and meeting deadlines.
• Work in compliance with the Company’s standard operating procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain a neat, orderly, safe, and clean work area.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• 1 or more years of experience in landscaping, construction, or janitorial work is preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks that meet quality standards.
• Ability to perform tasks independently and in a crew.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and dependable.
• Skills of painting, furniture assembly, snow removal, and basic power tool use are preferred.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
• The role is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and electrical components.
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
• Physical activities including, but not limited to, using equipment, positioning self to properly complete tasks on a frequent basis.
• Should be able to lift and move 50 lbs of material on a regular basis.
• Should be able to bend, lift, stretch, squat and reach both below the waist and above the head for extended periods of time.

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $19.00 - $22.00 per hour. Salary commensurates with years of experience.
