Regional Equipment Manager

About the role

SA Recycling, an industry leader in the metals recycling and processing industry, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager to oversee and perform diagnostic, repair, service, and maintenance activities on all heavy diesel-powered mobile equipment and trucks used in the recycling industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform diagnostic, repair, service, and maintenance activities on heavy diesel-powered mobile equipment and trucks.
• Lead and manage all repair and maintenance efforts at SA Recycling's Canton yard and other local yards.
• Work outside in varying weather conditions.
• Adhere to SA Recycling's strict adherence to Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, Environmental, and DOT standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in the metals recycling industry is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
