Regional EHS&S Manager, North America

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS&S policies and programs across assigned regions
• Lead EHS teams, offering guidance on regulatory compliance and internal policies
• Provide EHS support for customer requests and ensure safe operations at customer sites
• Track a variety of EHS metrics to minimize risks and enhance safety practices
• Influence leadership in commercial and supply chain sectors to prioritize safety improvements
• Supervise and mentor a team of safety coordinators and professionals
• Manage compliance with ISO 45001 and Responsible Care certifications regionally

Requirements

• Relevant BS or advanced degree in safety, environmental, engineering, or related field required
• 10+ years of increasing management responsibility in EHS&S within chemical and multi-site environments
• Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and international standards
• Formal safety certification or license preferred; Certified Safety Professional or equivalent is a plus
• 40% travel requirement with potential peaks up to 60%

Pay

$123,690 – $181,412 annually
