We're seeking a dynamic and innovative WHS Manager to help drive this mission forward.

Responsibilities

  • Transform safety culture through leadership and innovative solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that set new benchmarks in workplace safety
  • Leverage technology and data analytics to drive preventive safety measures that protect our associates while enhancing operational excellence
  • Build partnerships with Operations leadership to integrate safety into every aspect of our business
  • Oversee incident management and investigations, conduct business reviews and leadership meetings, manage staff development and training, monitor safety assessments and compliance, oversee emergency preparedness, and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Support sites and WHS staff across North American regions to drive safety excellence and ensure compliance
  • Oversee emergency preparedness and maintain stakeholder relationships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management
  • Adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 3 weeks of start date

Preferred Qualifications

  • Distribution Center or Manufacturing WHS experience with mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people
  • Master’s degree
  • Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organization
  • Certified Safety Professional
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders
  • Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability
