About the Role
As a Regional Driver CDL A at Kenco Logistics, you will operate tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment in accordance with all DOT regulations to transport product safely and legally from Distribution Centers and their vendors to their final destination. This position may involve White Glove service, which goes beyond standard shipping methods to ensure exceptional delivery standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment in compliance with DOT regulations to transport products safely and legally.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to their final destination.
- Utilize secure devices and straps, monitor freight, and ensure products are delivered undamaged and in original condition.
- Follow company policies, participate in required trainings, and maintain a clean truck.
- Maintain driver’s daily logs, trip reports, and other required documents.
- Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor-trailers.
- Immediately report all instances of damaged product to the Transportation Supervisor/Manager.
- Provide White Glove service at every delivery.
- Communicate any delivery issues to the Transportation Supervisor/Manager.
- Keep equipment fueled, tidy, and in compliance with inspection requirements.
- Account for all assigned tools and equipment.
- Maintain professional conduct and attitude toward other motorists.
- Conform to all DOT, OSHA regulations, and state laws.
- Perform any other reasonable requests as directed by management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer Class A driving experience.
- Class A CDL required.
- Meets FMCSA and company requirements.
- Pass background and drug screening.
- Clean driving record.

Travel Requirements
This position is expected to travel approximately 75% or greater. A passport is not recommended but not required.
