Regional Distribution Center - Warehouse Associate

Position Description

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize and pick materials to fill orders
• Load and unload trailers/containers
• Keep facility organized by physical alignment and by allowing sufficient space for overflow
• Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy
• Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial/housekeeping tasks
• Train and support new associates
• Assist with administrative tasks
• Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in quantity, size, and type

Qualifications

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

• Physical demands: Stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, hear, taste and/or smell, lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, handle tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 50 pounds.
• Work environment: Exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time, noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Travel required: 5% of the time
