Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize and pick materials to fill orders
- Load and unload trailers/containers
- Keep facility organized by physical alignment and by allowing sufficient space for overflow
- Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy
- Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial/housekeeping tasks
- Train and support new associates
- Assist with administrative tasks, including handling and preparing paperwork
- Report overages and shortages to the Lead Person/Operations Supervisor
- Submit regular reports of damaged and defective products
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
- Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in quantity, size, and type
- Inform management of inventory and supply shortages and assist with periodic inventory counts
Qualifications
- High School or GED degree
- 0-1 year of related experience preferred

- Physical demands: Stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, hear, taste and/or smell, lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, handle tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 50 pounds
- Work environment: Exposure to weather conditions, moderate noise level
- Travel required: 5% of the time
