About the role

As a Regional Director reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will oversee operations for a group of 10+ Metro Vein Centers offices in TX and AZ. You will play a critical role spearheading growth, process innovation, people management, and full profit and loss responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Build a high performing team of Office Managers, coaching them on a regular basis to execute basic day to day operations and impact performance of their office and your region.
  • Identify and develop talent at all levels through hands-on coaching and mentoring to retain and promote—as well as recruit—top talent as we continue to grow.
  • In collaboration with office managers and human resources, you will evaluate staffing needs, ensure effective hiring and onboarding experiences for new team members.
  • Work directly with physicians and individual clinic leaders to build a culture of trust and accountability—partnering to refine clinical workflows, KPIs, and protocols, with an emphasis on improving clinical care, operational rigor, individual clinic revenue growth, as well as overall employee communication, engagement, and retention.
  • Own the clinic operations P&L. Work closely with the VP of Operations to set performance goals.
  • Actively own, develop, implement, and support a data-driven, standardized operating strategy across all existing and new clinics.
  • Set goals and drive to achieve operational KPI targets. Establish a culture of accountability with physicians and clinical staff to influence performance improvement.
  • Regular travel (75% of the week) to various clinics to support operations on a regular basis. This travel may require flights and/or overnight accommodations.
  • Collaborate with partners across the organization, including executive leadership, on important project management, initiative launches, and various communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant operations leadership experience, preferably multi-site, in a provider-based healthcare organization. Proven success in managing a multi-site brick & mortar services environment strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills (equal parts IQ and EQ)—great listener, impactful communicator, quick learner, servant leader, and motivating team champion with strong prior cross-functional team and project management experience in service of a healthcare operations team.

  • Obsessively results- and data-driven with a metrics-focused approach to scaling operations and driving performance in a high-growth clinical care business.

  • Equal parts dreamer and doer. Innovative strategic thinker with an enthusiasm for hands-on execution both independently and in collaboration.
  • Passion for and/or interest in innovative healthcare, wellness, industry disruption, multicultural markets; preference for experience with companies with physical operations/footprints and/or insurance-based revenue models.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Must live in Austin, Houston, or San Antonio Texas.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time.

Pay

$120,000 - $160,000k

Schedule

Monday - Friday

Travel to clinics throughout the Houston, Austin, and or San Antonio daily

Travel to AZ clinics quarterly

Compensation

Compensation for this role varies based on years of experience, skill set, and alignment with position requirements.
