About the Role
As Regional Director of Nursing, you’ll oversee operations of nursing services, ensuring top‑quality patient care. You’ll lead staff development, monitor compliance with care standards, and collaborate across departments to maintain a positive, patient‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead nursing operations by establishing priorities, assigning tasks, and providing coaching, feedback, and discipline as needed.
- Conduct regular rounds and monitor staff activities and documentation to maintain the highest standards of nursing care.
- Create and maintain nursing care objectives, policies, and procedures in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Assist in the development of patient care plans and ensure compliance with physician orders and care plans.
- Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives, promoting effective communication and coordination across departments.
- Encourage practices that boost morale, support retention, and maintain a culture of respect and teamwork.
- Uphold patient rights and company policies, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
- 2+ years previous nursing experience required.
- Supervisory/management experience required.
- Pediatric and/or home health experience preferred.
