About the role

The Regional Director, Enterprise GEO will lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives to exceed sales quotas, develop customer accounts, and drive strategic sales strategies. This role is part of the Sales organization and is based in Bellevue, Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Account Executives to exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Serve as player/coach in the execution of a complex, solution-based sales process
  • Develop and grow existing business opportunities by coaching account executives
  • Drive senior executive engagement in target accounts
  • Execute across all disciplines of sales management, including Account/Opportunity/Relationship planning and sales methodology execution
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, Consulting, Customer Success and Marketing management
  • Proactively identify and address issues to increase growth velocity in sales region
  • Effectively predict and deliver sales results through accurate sales forecasting
  • Use company applications to manage business, including Smartsheet, Salesforce.com, Tableau, LinkedIn, DiscoverOrg and others
  • Understand unique challenges and opportunities in the Enterprise market
  • Navigate public sector procurement processes

Requirements

  • Cross-industry sales experience with a product serving diverse use cases across multiple lines of business
  • Demonstrated track record in leading sales teams to exceed quotas in Enterprise accounts
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales management of enterprise software, preferably Enterprise SaaS teams
  • 7+ years of experience in the software industry with current SaaS experience preferably on the business applications side
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Motivation to lead and embody Smartsheet's core values
  • Experience executing sales methodologies such as The Challenger Sale
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth software company
  • Skills in Smartsheet, Salesforce.com, Google Apps, Tableau

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Pay

US Base Salary Pay Range: $140,000 - $180,000 USD

Schedule

Role is based in Bellevue, Washington and is remote-friendly.
