About the Role
The Regional Director is responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing advisor relationships within a specific territory. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and maximizing territorial sales while adhering to an assigned budget. The Regional Director will serve as an industry and financial services expert, providing consulting support to current and potential financial advisors, and acting as a coach and leader to promote a premier sales and service model.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Regional Sales Consultant (RSC) to actively develop relationships with existing or potential advisors.
- Attend and present at broker-dealer (B/D) conferences and events.
- Efficiently use technology including Salesforce, Pardot, and Seismic.
- Present strategies in-person and through webcasts and other sales tools.
- Update and maintain Salesforce CRM records of meetings.
- Maintain the regional budget.
- Travel required (50-75%).
- Commitment to continuing education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of investment wholesale experience (required).
- Proven industry-established sales record.
- Deep industry relationships, preferably in the Independent Broker-Dealer (IBD) and Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) space.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent written, oral, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including Salesforce, Pardot, Microsoft Office, and Zoom.
- Strong financial services knowledge.
- Series 65 and/or CFP® preferred.
