Regional Credit Director

Job Purpose

Reports directly to the AZT MNC Credit Intelligence Director. In the region, leads the team of Program Credit Managers, steers the program profitability and development and manages the risk portfolio. Works together with the Regional Distribution Director and the Region (core) to implement the risk strategy and strengthens AZT NPS. Works with Regional Program Risk Managers (PRM) in managing all risk issues under the MNC World Program (AZT WP).

With Sales Manager

• Designs and implements World Programs
• Designs and implements the renewal strategy for World Programs
• Sets and aligns the program strategy with Account Manager/PUW
• Keeps close contact with customers and brokers through regular meetings and calls

Managing Directly a Portfolio of World Programs

• Actively manages the risk portfolio
• Develops/implements corrective actions on sensitive risks

Reporting to Management Committee and Central Team

• Reports to Management committee and Central Team on a regular basis

Reporting to RRC

• Reports to RRC on a half-yearly basis

Steering Large Claim Cases Globally

• Engages Strategic Risk Underwriters

Managing a Team of Regional Risk Managers (Program Risk Managers)

• Manages a team of Regional Risk Managers (Program Risk Managers)

Key Requirements

• Expert knowledge of the credit insurance industry, products and regulations
• Expert knowledge of risk management, including underwriting and risk governance
• Advanced knowledge of international insolvency and claims and collection practices, including relevant quality standards
• Advanced ability to assess claims, taking into account contractual parameters
• Advanced knowledge of geopolitics including on emerging markets
• Advanced ability to communicate well via all mediums (eg. email, phone) and at all levels of an organization within a multicultural setting
• Advanced ability to convince stakeholders in discussions and presentations of ideas and analysis
• Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English

Compensation and Benefits

• Total Compensation Range: $170,000 - $200,000
• Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience, skills for the role, and location.
