Regional Consultant - RIA Central

About the role

The Regional Consultant - RIA Central serves as a strategic leader and driver of distribution within the Financial Institutions Group, owning the execution of Lazard’s investment solutions across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Own the distribution strategy and execution to meet or exceed gross and net sales targets across the territory
• Proactively build and maintain meaningful, long-term relationships with clients
• Act as a subject matter expert on Lazard’s investment platforms, conducting high-impact in-person meetings, portfolio reviews, and technical presentations to influence advisor asset allocation
• Identify high-potential prospects and "key decision-makers" to close complex sales and secure platform placements
• Manage and mentor your Internal partner to ensure seamless territory coverage, effective lead generation, and optimized travel schedules
• Serve as an ambassador for the Lazard brand, embodying the firm’s intellectual capital and entrepreneurial culture

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of successful sales and distribution experience within the financial services industry, specifically within the RIA channel
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 65 required

Qualifications

• Deep fluency in capital markets, macro-economic trends, and the technical mechanics of separate accounts, ETFs, and alternative investment structures
• Exceptional executive presence with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies to sophisticated advisors and institutional-caliber clients
• Highly organized with the ability to manage a vast geographic territory, utilizing CRM tools (Salesforce) to drive data-driven sales decisions
• Advanced professional certifications such as the CFA, CIMA, AAMS, or CFP are highly desirable and viewed as a differentiator

• Base salary range of approximately $150,000 USD

Base salary range for this role is approximately $150,000 USD. Factors contributing to actual base compensation include years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and relevant skills for the role.
