About the role

The Regional Communications Specialist will conceive, write, and produce compelling content that elevates the firm’s people, clients, projects, and ideas. They will balance strategic thinking with detailed planning and hands-on execution, collaborating with studio and marketing leadership to develop and execute a cohesive communication strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Craft, elevate, and manage strategic communications at the regional level, including promotional collateral, media outreach, awards submissions, and other projects.
  • Plan, produce, and manage multimedia storytelling campaigns on behalf of the region’s studios.
  • Research clients, regional market trends, and relevant background information to support business development efforts.
  • Help regional thought-leaders craft relevant articles, essays, and other thought leadership content, and develop promotional plans to elevate these pieces in the regional market.
  • Mentor and guide junior writers and content creators.
  • Communicate ideas and thoughts in a way that inspires others.
  • Coordinate closely with studio and marketing leadership in the region to develop and execute a cohesive communication strategy.
  • Coordinate closely with Firmwide Director of Communication to ensure regional communications efforts align with firmwide objectives and calendar.
  • Participate in / oversee key photoshoots for high-priority projects as determined by regional leadership.
  • Proactively build and nurture strategic relationships with key journalists, influencers, and other members of the media in the region to support PR efforts.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in communications or related fields.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated multimedia content creation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a “customer service first” mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent multimedia and editorial skills.
  • Software proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office products, and WordPress.
  • Adobe Premiere or Audition proficiency (optional).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required.
  • LEED GA certification preferred but not required.
