About the role
Class A CDL driver responsible for transporting products safely and efficiently to customers and distribution centers.
Responsibilities
- Operating company equipment in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Loading and unloading goods (except no-touch freight)
- Managing fuel efficiency
- Accurately reading load paperwork
Physical requirements
- Regular activity throughout work hours
- Lifting up to 60 pounds
- Ability to sit, walk, or stand during work hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Haz-Mat and tanker endorsements (can be obtained during training)
- Medical certificate
- Ability to pass a physical ability test
Preferred qualifications
- Over-the-road experience or graduation from an approved driver training school
- Strong safety awareness
- English comprehension
