About the role
As a Regional Banker-Teller within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will be based in Columbia, Maryland. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
Responsibilities
- Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing and create loyalty while increasing share of wallet.
- Participate in proactive sales and service activities through various customer interactions, identifying referral opportunities.
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customer share of wallet and position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
- Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, including outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement to elevate client loyalty.
- Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions.
- Leverage ecosystem partnerships to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
- Create customer loyalty and grow share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience.
- Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
- Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
- Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively to drive customer loyalty.
- Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits and heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss.
- Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.

Requirements
- 1+ years of related experience (roles at this level typically do not require a university/college degree).
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
- Candidates will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.

Pay
Base Salary: $37,125.00 – $61,875.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
