About the role

The Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team transforms workplace environments by leading maintenance teams that ensure safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. You will develop maintenance strategies, solve complex challenges, and create a supportive work culture that empowers technicians to perform at their best.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers, fostering professional growth and performance
  • Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities across your region
  • Design and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs across your region that enhance operational efficiency, as well as manage and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards
  • Monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics and partner with applicable teams to address system performance issues and provide analysis across all operations
  • Travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support and guidance within your region

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P)
  • Full Time experience 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, or Master's degree
  • Experience working with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integrators
  • Experience maintaining material handling equipment and integrated systems
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience with statistical analysis

Pay

Base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

Schedule

Domestically up to 80% travel to provide escalation support and guidance within your region.
