About the role

The Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Division Chief of Regional Anesthesia in coastal Charleston, South Carolina.

Required Qualifications

• Experience at the Associate Professor level or above
• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Fellowship training in Regional Anesthesiology
• Eligibility for South Carolina licensure
• Strong clinical, educational, and interpersonal skills that will enable him/her to work collaboratively with colleagues and be a leader within the department and institution
• Research experience and interests are preferred but not required

• Collaborate team of 13 plus faculty with close collaboration between other Divisions within the Department
• Major tertiary referral center in the southeast
• Negotiable administrative time
