About This Role

The Regional Admissions Coordinator position holds responsibility for the implementation of an effective student recruitment program within a specific geographic region as part of K-State's overall strategic enrollment management plan. This position is tasked with coordinating an independently developed recruitment strategy for prospective and admitted students (freshmen and transfer) within their territory. The Coordinator will also provide guidance, communication, promotional information, consultation and assistance to educators and key campus partners.

Worksite Description

This position is remote required, and the individual in position must reside and maintain a home office in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. This position is tasked with coordinating an independently developed recruitment strategy for prospective and admitted students (freshmen and transfer) within their territory, including travel throughout the metro area. All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree. Education beyond the minimum degree requirement may count toward required experience if deemed relevant by the hiring manager.
  • Valid driver's license.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
  • Strong social and communication skills and the ability to engage with others of a wide array of experiences and backgrounds
  • Comfort in planning and conducting extensive travel independently including evenings and weekends
  • High energy level and ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Self-motivation, a team attitude, and a consistent commitment to a high standard of excellence
  • Demonstrated proficiency with technology and multiple computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Office including knowledge of Excel, customer relationship manager software), and efficient use of e-mail

Additional Information:

  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions and ability to drive required upon employment
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range

$52,000-$55,000 with geographic differential for the DFW area for total comp package of $55,000-$58,500
