Location

Remote in Pacific Time Zone or Texas (must reside in PST or Texas)

Responsibilities

  • Represent Essent to assigned accounts to deliver value added solutions while taking ownership of the success and profitability of each account.
  • Build strong client relationships to support current business needs and acquire new customers, while maintaining focus on profitability and mutually beneficial arrangements to create a sustainable alignment of interest.
  • Identify new streams of business opportunities for Essent to maximize wallet share with customer(s).
  • Create, analyze, and deliver detailed performance and pipeline reports to clients, offering insights and recommendations for optimizing workflows and enhancing service delivery.
  • Develop tactics to leverage current market trends and optimize sales potential.
  • Handle and resolve any transactional issues or escalations, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all parties involved.
  • Answer client questions and address concerns promptly, providing expert guidance on title insurance processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft and implement efficient workflows tailored to the needs of lender clients, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Educate clients on best practices, new procedures, and industry updates to enhance their understanding and use of our services.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant business development experience within financial services or mortgage industry.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 30%.
  • Demonstrated history of leadership and ownership, along with the ability to drive strategic initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Strong understanding of the title insurance industry products, workflow, and service level expectations between Essent and our customers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with senior-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and pursue new sales opportunities and markets.
  • High-level customer service and relationship management skills with the ability to handle complex and sensitive situations.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as a part of a team, and manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, drive, and work ethic.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
