Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and key decision-makers.
- Present and promote company products and services to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and support teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
- Track and manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and territory activity using CRM tools.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to increase brand visibility.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive strategy.
- Provide regular reports on account status, opportunities, and performance metrics to leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales or account management role, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals in a competitive environment.
- Experience working with healthcare professionals and understanding of clinical workflows is a plus.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized, proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite, ability to travel within assigned territory up to 50%.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in genetic testing, diagnostics, or a related healthcare field, knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards, familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
